Kaden Yim Ho-yan, the First Prize winner of the Thailand International Wind Symphony Competition, holds a Master of Music degree from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), having studied under Timothy Chan Ting-yuen. He was also mentored by Kam Shui and Angel Cheung On-ki. While studying at HKAPA, he was awarded the SAR Philharmonic Scholarship, Breguet Trey Lee Performing Arts Scholarship and Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation Scholarship. He has performed with the Pan Asia Symphony Orchestra and Gustav Mahler Orchestra in Hong Kong and appeared in the International Double Reed Society Conference, Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival and Roman Chamber Music Festival. He is currently active in orchestral and chamber ensembles, in addition to teaching.
